First, you need a Simulation Manager (Instructor) subscription to GoVenture. If you already have an account, login.

Here is what you can do to experience play as a student:

(1) Create a new Simulation Competition with just 1 business, but turn ON the computer competitors so you have other businesses to compete with.

(2) Click PLAY and then join this Simulation Competition.

(3) You are now playing as a student would play. Make your decisions and then SAVE them. Quit the company interface.

(4) Go to your Simulation Manager interface and manually advance the time by clicking the ADVANCE NEXT QUARTER link.

(5) Click PLAY again to load the company interface. You will notice that it has advanced to the next quarter.

(6) As the Simulation Manager, you have access to all the same reports that each individual business/student would have. But, note that each business has access to information that other competing businesses may not have access to (like individual income statements and balance sheets). To view these reports, scroll down to MANAGE SIMULATION COMPETITION and click the VIEW REPORTS link. The PERFORMANCE EVALUATION reports are what each individual business/student sees for their own business ... but as Simulation Manager you can see all of them in this one place.
